Hello my friends! We were staying at Good Vibes Farm and Ranch in Jamul, California, for a little over a week. This spot is going to be really fun because it’s our EVENT! Good Vibes Farm and Ranch has tons of amazing things to offer like bathrooms, showers, water, disc golf, a pool table, a stage, full kitchen, seating area/deck, tons of hiking trails, cabins, and trailers that you can rent. I can’t forget the coolest part of all, a doctor, chef, and DJ that are the most friendly and free spirited people you’ll ever meet.

When we arrived, the owners introduced themselves and showed us around. After chit chatting with them for a little bit, we set up camp. As we were setting up, my grandparents arrived, and of course, we had to give them big hugs! After showing them around and helping them get situated in the trailer they rented, we hung out and watched some football since the Packers were playing. After an hour or so, our friends the Hocking Adventure Bus arrived. They were co hosting and came early to help prepare and set up. Me and the Hocking’s daughter Amaia went for a walk around and caught up on each other’s lives before helping with setup.

The following morning, we got up and my grandparents helped make breakfast while I showered. By the time I was done and we finished eating, people started to arrive! Amaia and I played Uno and other card games while we waited for our friends to show up. After we showed everyone to their spots and they all got set up, we did icebreaker games. For the icebreakers, we wrote common travel questions on a huge beach ball and threw it around to different people. Wherever your pointer finger landed, that was the question you had to answer. After getting to know everyone, we made a fire and did a s’mores bar. DJ Juan ended up playing music for everyone which was amazing!

The next day, we had a huge breakfast potluck. Our friends the signal and noise bus made breakfast sausages, blueberry, chocolate, and vegan pancakes. Some of Landon’s friends took everyone’s orders and it was so cute! After breakfast, my friends and I decided to play Around the World pool before kickball started. Kickball was so fun! I had a blast even though I slid in shorts and got some raspberries on my legs, lol. When it started to get dark, everyone brought out stuff for New Year’s Eve. We had a projector for the ball drop, tons of sparkling cider, glow sticks, and sparklers. We also had two fires going and the karaoke machine set up. It was so much fun. My friends and I sang tons of songs and played so many games to pass the time, lol.

The next morning, everyone helped clean up camp since it was a disaster from the night before. Once everything was cleaned up, the Strong Wild and Free Bus hosted a huge workout. It was intense but still very fun. We had about 20 people doing it which was amazing. Later that morning, Amaia and I did activities with all the littles. One of the games was Duck Duck Goose. The kids thought it was super fun and it was, but I ended up slipping on the rocks and got some raspberries on my other leg. Most of that day was a rest day but we still had a few activities here and there. Our friends from the last spot came to hang out for the day which was fun. Later that evening, we did a hometown potluck and had more karaoke and card games, lol.

The last couple of days we all hung out and enjoyed having community. The Imperial Beach dad ended up doing a church service and told us all about his story. We passed the days with card games, kickball, scavenger hunts for the kids, pool, fires, hikes, walks, disc golf, karaoke, workouts, and tons more.

We had an amazing time here at Good Vibes Farm and Ranch. I totally recommend checking out this place. The people are amazing and they have gorgeous views of the mountains and sunsets. We also loved having all of our community get together to have a wonderful time. I really don’t want to leave but at least we are headed to a new spot with some of our friends. Keep an eye out for my next blog.
