Hola Welcome back! We stayed in Bahia De Los Angeles for four days (10/19/24-10/22/24). Our spot is a nice boondocking site right on the ocean and only 5 minutes to town so we decided to check it out. The town was not very big but they did have a handful of markets and restaurants. We tried finding a piñata and cake for Landons birthday but unfortunately we weren’t able to find any so we improvised and bought cake mix and whipped cream. We went to one of the restaurants for dinner and to get on Wi-Fi to check in with family since there is zero service here. I would recommend learning Spanish before going to these small towns because trying to order food and drinks with little Spanish is hard. We ate tacos, chatted with family then headed home.

The next morning I made coffee, read my bible and had a relaxing morning before we went for a little beach walk. As we were walking down the beach we saw this really cute restaurant, so of course we had to check it out. We ordered some drinks, chips, salsa and guacamole, they all were delicious! While we were there they were playing EDM, so Landon danced his little heart out on the dance floor. We spent a few hours enjoying our time there with stunning beach views before walking back to the RV. That evening my mom baked cupcakes while the rest of us played multiple board games before going to bed.
Landon woke up the following morning to a house decorated for his 5th birthday! We read him his cards then made waffles with sprinkles, whipped cream and a number 5 candle. After breakfast he requested to ride his bike and play outdoor games so of course we did. Then we got ready to head into town because Landon wanted to check out the local playground. The playground was a bit rough and it was super hot so we decided to check out the library instead where they had AC. The library was awesome, they had a craft area where we were able to paint, draw, make bracelets and they even gave us bubbles and balloons to take home. After a fun filled time at the library we were all a bit hungry so we headed to a restaurant where the birthday boy requested a cheeseburger and fries. That evening we ate cupcakes, sang happy birthday and played all the games Landon wanted to play. He ended the night saying it was the best birthday he’s ever had! Since we have limited time down in the Baja this winter we kept our time here short and sweet.

Thanks for reading, stay tuned for my next blog.
