Hello and welcome back everyone, we are very excited to be back to Dupis Campground because my mom is hosting an event this week! The event is only for full time families to grow community, 14 families attended with over 40 kids!

The first night we did an ice breaker game with everyone to get to know each other followed by s’mores by the fire. There were 6 teenagers so we all hungout the entire time. The second day was really fun, it was super hot so we made a make sgift slip n slide in the grass field. It was so much fun, all the kids loved it so much. We blew up a tube to try and slide on but as soon as they jumped on the raft it popped, it was so funny! That evening we did a potluck with sooo much food then a movie on the airstream.

Day two was packed with fun as well, starting the morning with a breakfast potluck followed by games. Us teenagers walked around camp and found a ramada to set up our hammocks on so we had our own little hangout area. Day Three was a bit rainy so we had a fire going all day. In the morning we all gathered around the fire and Tom led church fellowship. That evening we did a jam sesh around the fire. Everyone brought instruments and anyone that didnt have one made music with pots and pans, palmtree branches ect.

Day four started out with the moms doing yoga. In the afternoon we did a scavenger hunt, it was really fun. There were two seperate hunts one for the kids and one for the adults. The kids one was pretty easy since there were lots of littles but the adults one looked really cool. They had to go around and tour the rigs, take selfies with one another and other bonding type things. After we completed the hunt we were rewarded with ice cream, that was the best part.

On the fifth day the adults hung out for a coffee chat while all us kids did our own thing. Since it was our last day there we played more games, my mom won LRC then we did one last BIG pot luck. Nomads definitly know how to potluck. We had so much yummy food and even drinks for the adults. We planned to do one last fire but everyone ended up playing spoons and games all night.

The event went by way too fast but we left with a wonderful nomad community and plans to meet up along our travels.
