Hi Everyone, We were camped at the Burlingame State park campground for 9 days. It has showers, a huge playground, arcade, general store and a beach right along the “pond” that looked like a beautiful lake.

The first few days we spent our time at the campground playing at the arcade, playground and getting snacks from the general store. The arcade was a lot of fun with all kinds of games. This was my first time staying at a campground with such fun amenities.

On my moms birthday, she woke up to presents and I made her coffee. After breakfast my dad and I packed up and we all headed to have a beach day. It was a perfect sunny day for the beach. Delmara packed lots of yummy fruits for us to snack on at the beach. My mom enjoyed sun bathing while us kids played. That evening we had a Mexican fiesta and ended her birthday by the bonfire with cheesecake.

The following night we had some friends come spend the day with us at the lake. They had three kids, we played by the water, kayaked and tubed. When it was time for dinner we headed back to the RVs to make home made pizzas. It was a fun filled day with new friends.

A few days later another family that Tom and Delmara knows came and stayed in the site across from us for a few days. They also had three kids, Two sons and a daughter. We played at the arcade, went to the water one day and had collaboration meals each night. The last night we were there the adults had a game night so all us kids watched The Greatest Showman in the airstream.

It was so much fun spending time with new friends and family. We left Rhode Island feeling full of community and looking forward to seeing them again along our travels and hopefully meeting other full time families along our way.
