Hello everyone, welcome back to my blog. We were camped in Telluride, Colorado area at a free boondocking site for a week. It wasn’t anything fancy, just a dirt spot with a few sites, but it had really beautiful views of the mountains surrounding us.

The first day we got to our spot, we set up camp at the new site and then headed into town to fill up our water. We ended up stopping at a small playground and spent most of the time trying, and failing, to make basketball shots lol. After spending some time at the park, we drove around for a bit looking at all the trees that were changing colors. Once we got back home, it was almost dark, so we made some dinner and then headed to bed.
The next two days were mostly spent at the trailer. We played card games and board games, watched movies, called family and friends, rode bikes, cleaned, and worked on photography, videography, and blogs. My favorite part was making rings, painting coasters, bracelets, and wooden ornaments. If you’re wondering what that was for, I am going on a missions trip to Africa and was making homemade items to sell to help raise money for it.

The next morning, we drove about 20 minutes down the road to a beautiful lake surrounded by colorful trees. We spent some time enjoying the view before taking family photos and then heading into town. While we were there, we got me a CamelBak since we were planning a long hike soon and I needed one. After finding a good one, we went to a park so Landon could get some energy out. We then headed back home and spent the rest of the day playing card and board games.

The following day, we packed everything up for our hike. Once we arrived, we ate lunch and got all the last minute things ready before starting. The hike wasn’t very long, only a couple of miles, but it had a big elevation gain and a lot of loose rocks. The first waterfall was definitely my favorite. It was so beautiful and had so much scenery all around it. We spent about 15 minutes there taking a dip, eating snacks, and drinking water before heading toward the second waterfall. It wasn’t as impressive as the first, but it was still pretty. We didn’t stay long since we still had a ways to go to reach the best one, and we were short on time because we wanted to ride the lift to the top of the mountain later. Once we made it to the last waterfall, we stayed for about 20 minutes taking photos, snacking, and exploring. After finishing the hike, we headed into town to get some hot drinks, then went over to the lifts that brought us up to the mountain town. I definitely recommend doing this because it’s so beautiful getting to see all the fall colors from up high. You also get to walk through a cute main strip with little shops and stands set up. After checking everything out, we headed home for dinner and some much needed sleep.

The following day, we spent time at camp cleaning up and packing all our stuff since we had a drive early the next morning.
I was so sad to leave this spot because it was absolutely amazing, but it was time to head to a new one. Make sure to keep an eye out for my next blog.
