Hello everyone and welcome back! We stayed at an Elks Lodge for four days. It had tons of amenities like full hookups, which means water, electricity, and a dump station. Also a playground, picnic tables, a pavilion, dumpsters, bathrooms, lots of sites to park in, and plenty of solar options if you don’t want to be on electricity.
When we arrived, they showed us where to park. After setting up camp, we took Landon over to the playground to get some energy out. After about thirty minutes at the playground, Mom called us back to do some chores and help clean up before making dinner and heading to bed.
The following morning, Mom and Landon drove Dad to the airport so he could catch his flight to Arizona. (He was going back to get a layout of my grandparents’ trailer so he could start setting up a solar system for them, so they can come down to Baja with us.) While they were gone, I took Blue for a little walk around the campground so he could use the restroom. Then, I made some food and called friends while I waited for them to return. They weren’t gone long, and when they came back, Mom finished up some last-minute work she needed to do. We all got ready for the day and went out to our first stop—In-N-Out Burger, because we hadn’t had it in so long! It was so good. I got the number two, which came with a burger, medium fries, and a drink, but I replaced the drink with one of their famous milkshakes. I got vanilla, because vanilla is the best for dipping fries in. After our delicious lunch, we went to a bunch of different stores like Barnes & Noble, Walmart, Trader Joe’s, and a couple of random stores with lots of beads and other fun crafts! Once we finished at all the stores, we went back home, put away all our stuff, and hung out while watching a movie. We spent the night watching movies, doing our new crafts, playing games, and eating pizza!

The next day was pretty chill. We went to a big park with a splash pad section that Landon loved. We spent the rest of the day just hanging out at the campground—watching movies, doing arts and crafts, playing on the playground, calling friends, and of course, calling Dad. Later in the day, we went to pick him up at the airport and grabbed some dinner on the way back before heading home and getting some rest.
The following day, we packed up camp and headed to our next spot. I hope you guys enjoyed this blog post! If you haven’t already checked out my YouTube channel, make sure you do and don’t forget to subscribe. It’s called the same thing as this (Adventurous Leila)
