Hickory Hammock Campground – Florida | Peaceful Camping & Wildlife Spot

March 15, 2025 through March 23, 2025

Hello my friends, welcome back! We were staying at this campground for nine days. This campground had some amenities like cold showers, pit toilets, stables, water, trash, pavilions, fire pits, and picnic tables.

The first four days there, we ended up painting the whole RV—and when I say the whole RV, I mean it! Since me and Mom spent most of our time painting, Dad and Landon did all sorts of things like playing games, riding bikes, exploring the campground, going for walks, and tons more. I’m honestly so happy that we painted, as our tiny home looks a hundred times better. We did amazing—it looks like we hired people to paint it! Like, my mom and I need to be professional painters, lol.

After too many days cooped up inside, we decided to split up—Dad took Landon to a children’s museum while me and Mom went shopping. First, me and Mom got mani-pedis (because what girl doesn’t like to do that, lol?). I got mine all blue, and my mom got hers purple. After our mani-pedis, we went to tons of different thrift shops, Goodwills, and regular stores. We ended up finding super cute bathing suits and summer dresses to wear. After hours of shopping, we headed back to the children’s museum to pick up Dad and Landon. When we got there, Landon showed us all the fun things he got to do. It was a really cool place that had all sorts of things for kids. They had a dress-up corner where you would choose a job, then go to the area that had that job set up. Landon really liked the mini mechanic area, as he got to work on cars like his dad, lol. Once we got back home, we made dinner, then did the last coat of paint before going to bed.

The following day, we went back into town. We stopped at a yummy Chinese all-you-can-eat buffet. It was really good, as my family loves Chinese food. At the buffet, you could get your stuff hibachi-style, which we loved too. I think Landon’s favorite part was watching all the koi fish swim around in the little pond, lol. After our bellies were full, we went to a couple different grocery stores before heading back to the RV and playing card games till nighttime rolled around.

The last full day there, we spent packing up and hanging out. I hope you guys enjoyed my blog—I’ll see you in my next blog post! Make sure to check out my YouTube channel too!
