Hello everyone, we made it to Guerrero Negro where we stayed one night in a campground before heading to a beach front boondocking spot that we stayed for four nights (10/22-10/28). The first day we were there we got set up then we went for a beach walk. Landon and I got to hold an octopus that we found in one of the fisherman boats parked on the shore. We watched the amazing sunset before heading in where we ended the night playing family games.

The next day we headed into town to run errands such as grocery shopping, laundry, get more pesos and of course having to check out an authentic taco stand for lunch. The tacos were dirt cheap, so yummy and loaded with meat plus they had a whole stand full of salsas, onions, peppers, cilantro and more for toppings. After out bellies were full we finished laundry, got water then headed home.

Landon woke me up early the next morning to show me the local fishermen out his window. I made us hot coco, oatmeal and we played legos until my parents got up. We then headed out to the beach to build sand castles. Then we wanted to explore the area so we headed down the road to these gorgeous salt flats. They were so amazing, crystal clear and super sparkly from all the salt. We walked around the area to see how many we could find then I pulled out my drone and got some cool footage. After the salt flats my dad tried taking us over to some seashell mound that was pretty lame and disappointing plus we had to drive through some pretty sketchy areas to get there. To make up for it we stopped at the playground for a bit before heading home for the night.

We spent the rest of our time exploring tide pools, building sand castles and playing board games at home. We ended up finding a baby eel in one of the tide pools, which was super cool. We enjoyed our time on the beach but it was time to move onto a desert oasis!
