Arizona

We’re in Arizona staying at my grandma’s house for 10 days! When we got done with our 7 hour travel day my grandma picked us up at the airport and we went straight to In N out Burger, my favorite! When we got to my grandparents house, two of my cousins Kyah and Airalyn were there waiting to have a slumber party. The following morning my mom’s friends Dani and Kara came over with their kids. We all had a blast hanging out and riding the quad but before I knew it, it was time to head to my other cousin Micah’s first birthday party. I got to hangout with a ton of family there including Hannah from Germany. After the party was over Hannah, Airalyn and Kyah all stayed the night at my grandparents house. We went around the house pointing at things for Hannah to say in German then we said it in English. We stayed up until 1am watching funny shows.

The following day my grandma took Kyah and Airalyn to school so it was just Hannah and I. We rode the quad, fed the miniature donkeys and hung out before heading out to run errands. We headed over to Oma and Opas to have dinner and my mom, Hannah and I all gave our hearts to Jesus. It was a very amazing experience. The evening was getting late so we headed back to grandmas for the night.

I was super excited because after going to a few doctors appointments we went over to my Uncle CJ and Aunt Savannas and their two adorable kids, Sunday and baby Ozzy. Ozzy was just about to turn 2 months old so this was our first time meeting her. I had a blast playing with Sunday and holding Ozzy. While we were there my Uncle Cj noticed a trash bag in front of their house he thought someone had threw trash in their yard. Turns out it was full of clothes that someone must have left for their shop Heavens Closet. If you’re ever in Phoenix you definitely need to check it out. In the evening we headed over to Grandpa Grappy’s house to celebrate his birthday. It was a blast we had dinner, walked to the park, played with my cousins and sang him happy birthday. After another packed day we were exhausted and ready to head home.

My dad dropped me off at my Aunt Rachel’s, when I got there the baby was sleeping so Rachel had me try on clothes she was getting rid of. Once Micah woke up we headed to the mall where we ate a delicious Margarita pizza. Then we did some shopping and I got some skin care. When I got back to my Grandma’s house there was a house full of kids. My mom’s friend Dani, my Aunt Adrienne and my dad’s friend Brendan were all over for dinner. Also Kyah stayed the night again.

The next afternoon we picked up my Grandpa Grappy and went to the Arizona State Fair. Aunt Adrienne and Uncle Kenny met us there with my cousins. We rode so many rides and had an amazing time. When our wrist bands expired we headed out and I got to spend the night at my cousins. In the morning we played then went to the park to run through the sprinklers, and some of their neighbor friends joined us to play groundies. Before we knew it, it was time to head to my Grandparents to have Adrienne’s birthday dinner. I got to see my oldest cousin Aly and her boyfriend Wyatt. CJ and Savanna also came over with Sunday and Ozzy. We ended the evening hanging out by the fire.

My cousins had stayed the night again so when we woke up we all headed out to help my mom set up for Landon’s birthday party. When we were about to get ready Carrie, my grandma’s neighbor, invited us to walk to the park with her donkeys Daisy, Olive and baby Bogo. It was really fun and we each got to walk one of the donkeys. When we got back we had to start getting ready because everyone was going to be arriving soon. Before the party started we had invited a few people over because my mom, grandpa and I were going to have Opa and Uncle Tom baptize us. After the baptism everyone was arriving and it was party time. I had so much fun hanging out with my friends and family and most of all my bff Adelaid, but time flies by when your having fun and before I knew it I was getting picked up by my Grams to stay the night at her house.

Since it was late by the time we got to her house she showed me her amazing new house and we went to bed. In the morning Grandpa Matt made the yummiest pancakes ever. After breakfast we walked over to the farmers market, got some yummy treats and souvenirs. We headed back to her house to get ready to go see my great Nana. It was so nice to see her and she looked great for 80. She couldn’t believe how tall I was, I was at least a whole foot taller than her. Once our visit was over we swung by my Aunt Amy’s house to see my Aunt, Papa T and one of my cousins Jack. I was really glad my Grams took me over to see all my family before it was time to head back to my other grandparent’s house.

Our last day in Phoenix we had to go to In N Out one last time. Then my mom and I attempted to make my Uncle Matthew some birthday treats but they did not turn out great. We went over to my Aunt Rachels for a Birthday pizza party for Matthew and we got to see our whole family one last time.

Even though our 10 days in Phoenix were jammed packed I had the best time and got to see almost my entire family. I was really sad to leave but I think I get to come back in April again so that makes it a little easier. Hope you enjoyed reading about my time in our home town. See you next time!
