We made it to our very last spot in Canada, just outside of Quebec City. Our spot was nothing special, just an old abandoned church parking area. We had lots of exploring planned and since we had only planned to be there for three days we wouldn’t be spending much time at the RV.
Our first day we explored a lot of waterfalls. The first one was just a short hike to a small waterfall with lots of boulders to explore. The second one was way bigger, it was so beautiful. You can take the stairs all the way down to the bottom and walk along the rocks. After exploring the bottom we headed back up the stairs and headed across a huge suspension bridge that was really scary but had great views. It reminded me of the place in Paris because people put their locks all along the bridge. The last waterfall didn’t end up working out as we got to the spot we thought the hike was at and it was in the middle of a town with no water around. My parents decided instead of going home we would stop at this ice cream shop on the way back. It was so fun, they not only had ice cream but a playground and lots of outdoor games. The sun was starting to go down so headed back home.

Our next day we went to another beautiful waterfall hike that is actually taller than Niagara Falls. My mom and Landon didn’t come all the way down so they headed to play at the playground while dad and I explored. When we got down to the bottom it was so misty that we got drenched, even my camera got wet and I was so worried it was going to break. We decided to head back up the million stairs so we could make our way to Old Quebec City to explore for the remainder of the day.

When we first drove into Old Quebec I was amazed by all the old buildings that all looked like castles. We walked all over the town and even got to go into the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac. It was such a massive hotel that I thought it was a mansion made of gold. I wasn’t excited when my parents told me we were going to look at a hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed exploring and feeling like a queen on all the spiral staircases. We were headed to this really old French quarter that we had to walk down a steep hill to get to. There was a lady right in front of us that ripped it and I’m pretty sure she pooped her pants. She not only farted once but at least five times and they were loud juicey ones! We were literally crying laughing when she walked away. After our laughing sesh we made it to the French quarter where we stopped for some yummy gelato.

After lots of exploring we found a restaurant where we ordered all the local delicacies. We tried rabbit wings, pea soup, French onion soup and meat pies. For dessert we ordered the poor mans pudding and it was buzzin buzzin! The restaurant was really cool as well, it had a downstairs with lots of individual toilet rooms and in the middle was an old claw foot bathtub they used as a sink. They even had a tiny Volkswagen bug in the entrance. Once we were done eating dinner we started making our way back to the car but stopped at these really cool water fountains that I decided would be the perfect spot for a photo shoot.

The next morning we were back on the road headed to America. Our 8ish weeks in Canada flew by but we made some memories we’ll remember for a lifetime.
