Nova Scotia- South Shore

Welcome back everyone, we were camped at Clark Harbor for three nights. Our actual spot was basically just a parking lot with a small romada and picnic table, but it was beautiful because you walk over a short boardwalk and you are on a white sandy beach. This was wonderful since most of the beaches we’ve been to in Canada have all been rocky.

Our first full day there we played at the beach majority of the day. Have you ever seen the little library boxes around with community books? Well here they have community toy boxes filled with beach toys. We were so excited to play with all the fun things and build lots of sand castles. After we got done at the beach we headed back to the RV to get some school done before having dinner and heading to bed.

The following day we got up and headed out for a hike to the most southern tip of Nova Scotia. The hike was along the ocean the entire time but at some points there were a lot of dead trees and it was really smelly. We seen a bunch of old rusty engines and assumed they were from ship wrecks because we read that area has a ton of wrecks. After our hike we ate our lunch on the beach and played for awhile before heading out. On our way back to the RV my parents decided to take the long way around so we could check out the area more and see all the cool pirate decor the locals had for their upcoming holiday, Hawk day.

After three nights in Clark Harbor we headed to Ingomar and stayed at a hip camp for two nights so my dad could do some maintenance on our RV and Jeep. The campsite was right on an inlet of the ocean but nothing really special. They had a schoolie they rent out and an outdoor shower made out of a bouy that washed to shore. Luckily my dad is a fast worker and got all our projects done and we were back on the road in no time headed to our next destination.
