New York Part 2

We stayed about a week in the woods near Livingston Manor NY. Our campsite wasn’t the best as it was very small and both our RV and the Airstream had to squeeze in. There must have been a mosquito nesting area in our site because it had the most mosquitoes we’ve ever seen. If we wanted to be outside we had to have a smoldering fire for smoke, the bug zapper and lots of oils to repel them.

Since the mosquitoes made it so hard to go out and play I spent most of our time there going to the library with my mom to get caught up on school.

One evening Tom and Delmara took the dogs for a walk and stumbled upon a bear. Luckily the dogs ran it off and then came straight back to them without getting hurt. Aside from that this spot was uneventful with not a whole lot to share.

I love this picture with your cousins and brother in the camper. I remember when I was a kid and all the mosquitos in New York! We don’t have that many in Phoenix. Thanks for keeping us updated on your travels! Looks like you had fun with Grandma and Grampa!
