Adventurous Leila

Hi guys we were in Pennsylvania camped at Gifford Pinchot state park campground right next to the lake. The campground was nice and the spot my parents picked was right next to the playground and bathrooms. My brother and I played and played because there were probably 50 kids at the playground. It was insane but I loved having all the company and playing with new people. The girls that were camped right next to us were really nice and had lots of animals. They just started living in the rig the week before we got there. The mom has three daughters, 14, 13 and 10.

The following morning we got up and out early because my parents had another surprise for us. I had no idea where we were going but as we were arriving I seen the huge roller coasters. They brought us to Hershey Park and my aunt, uncle and cousins all met there as well. It was an awesome amusement park with lots of huge and exotic roller coasters. I went on the comet, the sky rocket, the Hershey tower and lots more. Landon had so much fun riding the little kid rides and my mom took him to the zoo while us older kids rode the big rides. We all stayed from the time the parked opened until it closed, then ended the night getting Chick Fil A. It was the best day!

The day after the amusement park we were all tired so we decided to just hangout at camp. I got to play at the playground all day. In the evening my dad wanted to go to the lake to fish and surprised Landon with his own fishing pole. We couldn’t believe it but Landon caught a fish the first time ever fishing. He was so excited and has been practicing casting ever since.

The main reason for us being in this part of PA was to go to Hershey park, so we only stayed four nights before heading to our next destination
